I have booked my ticket for Hackmanchester 2017! Some of the challenge sponsors are the same as last year, but there are some completely new ones as well so I have no idea what to expect. Unlike last year I think I am going to this one solo, so I will try and get on social media beforehand and see if a team needs an extra pair of hands.
The team behind Hackmanchester have also set themselves up as a company this year and are running and arranging the Hackmanchester hackathon, Hackmanchester Junior for under 18s and Leeds Hack, which is due to be held in 2018 as well as other events and game jams, so they are really doing a lot for the tech community in the north of England.
