I like the idea of the Raspberry Pi and I was pretty quick to pick up one of the B+ models, but at the moment I have not done a lot with it. I have started looking at a few projects and one of them is to build my own small scale cluster computer. With a £10 price drop on the Pi B+ a cluster with a couple of nodes won't break the bank, although I don't plan on running this up to the size of some projects I have seen. My initial intention is to have 1 head node and 2 worker nodes and I am in the process of getting together the boards, housing switch and power supply.
Here you can see the three B+ all with pibow coupe cases from Pimoroni which are nice cases for keeping the board safe easy to handle, but sill allow me to use all of the sockets and GPIO pins if I want to and also allow the use of various hats, so I can expand my system any way I choose.
